Who we are

This website is run by Dorbintech Solutions LTD, a company registered in England & Wales (company no. 14807212). Registered office: Erw Bach, The Nant, Pentre Halkyn, CH8 8BD. We are the “controller” for the personal information described here.

What we collect

When you use the contact form we collect:

• your name and email address
• your company name (optional)
• the service area you pick and the message you write

If you email us directly, we receive whatever you include in that email. We don’t ask for sensitive information, so please don’t include it in your message.

Why we use it, and our lawful basis

We use your details only to reply to your enquiry, talk through your project and, if you go ahead, prepare a quote and deliver the work. Under UK GDPR our lawful basis is:

• Steps before a contract — where you’ve asked us about work we might do for you.
• Legitimate interests — replying to general enquiries and keeping a record of our conversations. We only do this in ways you’d reasonably expect.

We don’t add you to a mailing list, and we never sell your details or share them with anyone for marketing.

Who processes it for us

• Netlify hosts this website and receives contact form submissions. Netlify is based in the United States; transfers are covered by the UK’s data transfer safeguards (the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and/or standard contractual clauses).
• Microsoft 365 — form submissions are forwarded to, and our email is stored in, our Microsoft 365 mailbox.
• Google Fonts — the fonts on this site load from Google’s servers, which means your browser shares your IP address with Google when a page loads.

How long we keep it

If an enquiry doesn’t lead to any work, we delete it within 12 months. If you become a client, we keep project correspondence and records for 6 years after the work ends, because that’s what accounting and tax rules require.

Cookies and analytics

This website doesn’t set any cookies and doesn’t use analytics or tracking tools. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (such as IP addresses) for security and to keep the site running.

Your rights

You have the right to:

• ask for a copy of the information we hold about you
• ask us to correct anything that’s wrong
• ask us to delete your information
• object to, or ask us to restrict, how we use it
• ask for your information in a format you can take elsewhere

To use any of these rights, email hello [at] dorbintech.co.uk. We’ll reply within one month, and there’s no charge.

Complaints

If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK’s data protection regulator: ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or 0303 123 1113.
